BCA - Admission Procedure :

GSM is affiliated to West Bengal University of Technology.
Course Offered:
GSM is offering 3-years, full-time degree programme for bachelor of Computer Application(BCA).
Academic Qualification Requirement:
Candidates from any of the following four categories :
1. |
Passed in / Appeared for 10+2 from any recognized central/state board of Higher Secondary education,under 10+2 system in India/Bangladesh/Srilanka/Nepal/Bhutan/Myanmar. |
2. |
Passed in / Appeared for intermediate or 2 year pre-university examination conducted by a recognized board/ university. |
3. |
Passed in / Appeared for final examination of the 2 year course of the Joint Service Wing of the National Defense Academy. |
4. |
Passed the Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with minimum fivesubjects as per CBSE |
Eligibility in Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT) for admission in UG courses is compulsory.
Assessment :
Every semester, students shall have to take a written examination conducted by the West Bengal University of Technology. This would be supplemented by internal examinations and project and case study assignments. 5% of the seat are reserved for NRI/Sponsored candidates.
Admission Procedure & related Information :
Duly completed application form should be submitted to the admission coordinator.
The eligible applicants short-listed by CET shall be selected and called for admission.
The applicants has to pay the enrolment fee after selection by the specified date.
Mode of Payment :
If an applicant fails to complete her/his admission formalities within the time specified, her/his enrolment would stand automatically cancelled. In such case, admission enrolment fees shall not be refunded. The fees can be paid in Cash or by Demand Draft in favour of “Gurukul Educational Trust” payable at Kolkata.
Note:
- All fees should be cleared by the 1st of the month mentioned unless specified. If 1st is holiday or Sunday Next Working day will be considered.
- Six stamp size photographs will be needed at the time of admission.
